2020 Mazda3 Adds New Standard Safety Features

For 2019, the Mazda3 received a head-to-toe makeover that makes the compact sedan a standout even when pitted against luxury competitors. For the new model year, the 2020 Mazda3 has received a slew of new standard features to up the ante even further.

The new 2020 Mazda3 will come standard with a number of sophisticated active safety features as part of the i-ACTIVSENSE suite. This means that even on the Mazda3’s most basic trim level, drivers can utilize Stop and Go Radar Cruise Control, High Beam Control, Lane-Keep Assist, Driver Attention Alert, and Smart Brake Support. Mazda’s move to standardize safety features demonstrates the brand’s commitment to driver and passenger safety.

In addition to the newly-standard safety features, Mazda has packed even more value into its Mazda3 sedan by making a number of premium convenience features standardized as well. One such standard feature on the 2020 Mazda3 is rain-sensing wipers, which automatically engage when rain is sensed on the windshield. Other standard features include Advanced Keyless Entry, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, dual-zone climate controls, and one-touch up and down driver power windows.
