New Mazda3 Revealed at Los Angeles Auto Show

After months of anticipation, the wait is finally over: The new Mazda3 reveal has taken place at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show, and the redesigned car is already turning heads.

Among the information disclosed at the press show is that the 2019 Mazda3 would be longer and wider than before, flaunting a sleeker design this year. The sedan and hatchback configurations will be further differentiated from one another. New material science has been applied throughout the cabin to improve noise cancellation properties within the cabin.

Also causing buzz is the announcement of a new engine for the Mazda3. While 2.0-liter and 2.5-liter four-cylinder engines were expected, the announcement boasted of a third new offering in the form of a 140kW petrol engine that promises to greatly increase efficiency and lower emissions.

Also getting updates are the Mazda3’s technology offerings with traffic monitoring tools and driver fatigue detection, as cameras have been included to help raise alertness. Traffic Jam Assistance will help navigate the stop and go of stressful deadlock traffic by inching forward on your behalf. This new generation of Mazda3 is also the first in the brand’s lineup to bring standard Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ on board.

Hiley Mazda of Hurst will soon have the 2019 Mazda3 in stock. Contact us if you’d like your own to take home.
